Joel H. McGlasson III is the current owner of Boxcar Bookkeeping in Houston and self-proclaimed history and train buff. His industry knowledge is nothing new and dates back to growing up as the grandson of a former Southern Pacific bookkeeper. Joel picked up on the importance of bookkeeping and offers modern solutions to a developing industry with familiar age-old problems.

Joel is the owner and founder of Boxcar Bookkeeping with over 25 years of bookkeeping experience.
In the early 2000s, Joel served as second-in-command for customer service at Juris – a time and billing law firm accounting software trusted by 1,700 law firms nationwide. He’s since performed accounting and bookkeeping services to law firms that bill by time for over two decades.
Joel earned his title as a QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor in 2007 and offers QuickBooks Enterprise and training for Quickbooks for internal team members. For businesses moving away from in-house accounting, Joel saves them time and money with comprehensive bookkeeping services.
